Membership info

Nidderdale Plus has a membership of organisations and individuals that support the aims and principles of the organisation. Membership is free and how much you become involved is up to you: you may decide to volunteer in Partnership Office for a few hours each week, or consider becoming a Trustee of the organisation, or you may just want to keep in touch with our work. Contact us for a membership application form.

Trustees:

Paula Newson Smith (chair): extensive experience of public sector senior management, including partnership working to improve local public services

Mike Perry (deputy chair):  former owner of Nidderdale Fine Wines in Pateley Bridge for 13 years and past president of Nidderdale Chamber of Trade

Simon Garnett-Spence (treasurer)employed by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service, living locally at Wilsill

John Fort: represents residents of Pateley Bridge division of NYCC and retired police officer

Anne Challis: owner of the Studfold ‘The Nidderdale Experience’, whose family have lived and farmed in the dale for 16 generations

Sue Lyon:  recently retired teacher from Nidderdale High School, Yorkshire born and bred

David Booker: resident of Glasshouses, with experience of work in social welfare and volunteering, including the NHS and the Barnados charity

Katy Penn Company Secretary: experience of working in the public sector and as Head of HR strategy for North Yorkshire Police; holds Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA, Leeds)
